Spruce Torrefied Top for Acoustic Guitars, No. 6070, A Grade

29.00

Torrefied European Spruce (Picea abies / Picea excelsa) Common name: Torrefied European Spruce, Torrefied Carpathian Spruce, Thermo-Aged Spruce, Pino Abeto Torrefacto Description: Torrefied spruce is obtained through a controlled thermal process in which the wood is slowly heated in the absence of oxygen. This treatment simulates natural aging, reducing moisture absorption and enhancing acoustic response. The result is a lighter, more stable, and more resonant tonewood with a mature, “opened-up” sound — similar to that of well-aged instruments.
