Black Poplar Cello  Set – 4/4

Naturally air-dried Black Poplar (Populus nigra) harvested in the Carpathian Mountains.

The set includes a well-seasoned two-piece back with a joint edge thickness of 48 mm.

Pattern shown on the back plates is 230 mm wide at the lower bout

Each set come with three ribs each one 850 x 130 x 3,5 mm

Black Poplar has long been used for double basses thanks to its light weight, warm tonal response, and excellent workability. It is particularly appreciated for instruments where a quick response and mellow character are desired.
