Aditional Information

The exact piece shown in the photos is the piece you will receive. Please check the second photo for the end grain view.

The blank’s dimensions are written directly on the wood and are visible in the photos.

This solid curly maple tonewood blank has been kiln dried and prepared for crafting or restoring electric, acoustic, archtop, classical, and bass guitar necks.

Its generous dimensions allow you to carve a complete neck from one continuous piece, without laminating headstock ears or adding a separate heel block.

Please note: This blank comes from a log with natural color variations, as shown in the photographs. Similar tonal variations will remain visible in the finished neck and are part of the wood’s natural character.

Key features:

  • Seasoning: Kiln-dried for low moisture content and improved dimensional stability
  • Construction: Full one piece blank with no lamination required
  • Compatibility: Suitable for electric, acoustic, archtop, classical, and bass guitars
  • Efficient workflow: No additional glued joints are required for the headstock wings or heel
